Red & Gold Scarf : Deborah Younglao Silk Art
About The Author I create paintings using silk as my canvas and liquid dyes as my paint. It was love at first brushstroke for me. When I first touched my dye-filled brush to a piece of white silk and watched liquid color spread across the surface, I knew that I had found the magic. Transparent dyes moving and blending on the silk…it’s a meditative dance which I find endlessly mesmerizing… I easily get lost… I am at peace.

I know you said you started making scarves a long time ago and I am so glad you have returned. These are beautiful and you are right, wearable art is a great idea and imagine all the potential customers who will see your work as they are being worn. I am not surprised they are selling so well.
