Customer Reviews:
  1. would not purchase again
I would not purchase this scarf again. It is very poor quality. If I had purchased it from a store that I could walk into, I would return. It will be going in the bag of items that I am dropping off at good will.
  2. more for looks
I purchased this to keep me warm as I live in Ohio. It was a very loose knit scarf. I thought about returning it but it was a hassle to me to do so. I kept it because once it is wrapped around twice, it is better. I would not purchase another one.

Pile it on: The layered look

Cropped cardigans over long shirts. Faux-fur vests over turtlenecks and pencil skirts. Short boots over striped socks and skinny jeans.

Fall is for layering, but layering can be tricky.

It can look shapely, or be shapeless.

It is chic, or maybe comical.

It can be creative, or look chaotic.

So why bother?

First, layering is practical (dressing for cold mornings, warm offices), versatile (adding or subtracting a layer to dress for dinner on the town) and thrifty (finding new ways to wear what you own).

It also is a big look in fashion right now, said Pat Seitz, buyer at Danahy's, a woman's specialty store in the Northtown Plaza in Amherst.

This season's trendy vests, sweater coats, capes, scarves, belts and other updated separates and accessories make it even more so.

Layering can add personal style to your wardrobe -- and help you dress for the way you live.

Women who spend a good chunk of time in cars commuting and car-pooling often find coats and jackets confining, for example.

DIY Flannel Infinity Scarf - brittanyMakes

I think you'll agree with me when I say, plaid rocks.  It never goes out of style.  Ask the Scottish or Welsh!  Come on, I know you secretly have a section of plaid shirts in your closet, and you wiped away tears when the trend went away in the 90's.  Plaid was hated for a bit after its overuse in the 90's, but deep inside we were all waiting for an excuse to break out our secret stash of flannel.

No? You don't wear flannel? Lies!  I bet you sleep on flannel sheets.

Something I love more than plaid? Infinity scarves.  I have a moderate collection of infinity scarves, mostly knitted solid prints like black, grey, and mustard yellow.  Infinity scarves are expensive too, J. Crew sells them for $45, Gap for about $30, and American Apparel for $28.  I just think this is too

Thimbledoodle Infinity Scarf Review {Made with Love Spotlight ...

I received a Double Infinity scarf in black and white houndstooth to review from Lisa at Thimbledoodle. First of all, this came packaged nicely enough to be a gift (I took a photo but unfortunately my husband accidentally deleted it)

The fabric is super cute (I love houndstooth- I already have a pair of shoes and another regular houndstooth scarf as proof), and Thimbledoodle’s etsy page has tons of different fabric prints and types to choose from. The scarf I reviewed is silky which means it’s not as warm as other fabrics, but it feels very nice against my skin and works well as a buffer between my wool jacket and my neck. I live in the northwest- it’s never cold for very long so I could wear it into spring since it’s not super warm. It would work well with professional type clothing as well. As I said before though, there are a lot of different fabric types to choose from so you could get a much warmer scarf if you wished.
