Great hat
I love this hat. It fits and stays on because it has an elasticized back, and stayed on even in a high wind when others' hats were blowing off. The bill is deep enough to shade your eyes against the sun, and the fabric is good quality cotton. Most of all - I love the way it looks! -
Great full coverage hat
I lost all my hair recently due to chemotherapy treatments. Was looking for a lightweight summer hat that offers full coverage (e.g. hat covers the head all the way to the neck in the back). This hat is perfect and I've received lots of compliments from people about how cute it is. Durable but...

I have a Seirus Quickdraw which has the face mask which bundles up into the hat, it is made of thick fleece; it is only good for about 55 degrees on me, and this is during the day while I am up and moving.
I sleep very cold too! I feel your pain. I have found that adding a wool hat over my fleece (less itchy) works pretty well for me. Be sure and buy it extra large so it comes down over your ears.

Normally I would think that the Quickdraw would do the trick. At 55F. I don't even wear a hat and can get by on just a Polartec 100 fleece hat in temps as low as 0F. (I suppose it's all relative...20-30F isn't that cold to me.)
Anyway...You might want to try something

Hats that won't leave you with helmet head
New York, NY, United States (AHN) – Don’t wear a hat just because it fits your head. Experiment and follow the recent trend in head coverings that are not the traditional, the ordinary or the average.
One of the greatest dilemmas for both men and women is finding a great winter hat that doesn’t leave them with helmet head. You know the look: flat, static ridden, and matted down.
Among today’s favorite options are hoods. Seen frequently on both men and women are black hooded tops worn under a quilted zip-up vest. When flipped up, the hood shields against wind, rain, sleet or snow, leaves hair intact, and looks both fashionable and fabulous. Hoods are increasingly appearing on tees, sweaters, jackets and coats.
Long oblong scarves, sophisticatedly draped around the neck and casually wrapped over the head, are also very in and so movie star chic.
Also popular this season are brimmed hats. Felt fedoras are particularly popular. But finding the right size and proportion makes pulling one off a bit of a challenge. For men, wide brimmed hats work well for both work and the casual wardrobe.
