Look stylish in the snow

Of any sense of style. Gone are the gorgeous riding boots, high-waisted skinny jeans and beautiful cashmere sweaters. Enter jeans styled on the Michelin man, oversized hoodies and garish wellies. Fair enough, temperatures below zero may not play nicely with the skater dress you bought last week because you thought Spring had sprung, but don’t ditch style altogether.

Woolly tights are great for dragging warmer-weather dresses and skirts into chillier days. Previously resigned to primary school uniforms and yummy-mummy type shops, the high street has now jumped on the bandwagon. Go plain with a patterned dress, or go for a brighter colour or polkadots . If you’re still cold, you can always layer thinner pairs of tights underneath.

Gloves Leather gloves have also become prevalent recently, with everyone from Prada to Primark stocking them or their imitation equivalents.
