Customer Reviews:
  1. Softest ever
I love the size and softness of this scarf. It is perfect for tall people who have a great deal of difficulty finding something long enough.
  2. Softer than cashmere warm winter scarves
This is a good scarf for the price. It is a bit short for a man, but it works. I bought it for my fiance and he likes it.

How can I organize my winter scarves?
1-4

I am looking for a way to organize my and my husband's winter scarves. We already have our iron and ironing board hanging on the door, so we cannot hang anything else on the door.

Get some door hooks like these:

Hang the scarves on the other side of the door or on a different door.

Fashion a big part of Winter Dance Party

CLEAR LAKE — Poodle skirts, saddle shoes, cat eye glasses, chiffon scarves and black leather jackets — a 1950s look wouldn’t be complete without any of these items.

“All of the girls used to have poodle skirts,” said Jan Hanson, Cedar Falls, during the Winter Dance Party at the Surf Ballroom, Clear Lake on Wednesday night.

Hanson, her husband, Dan, and dozens of others have embraced the 1950s fashions during the Winter Dance Party this week.

“We just love it (dressing up),” said Jan, who was wearing a black and white checkered poodle skirt, pink shirt, saddle shoes and a chiffon scarf in her hair.

The couple wear a different 1950s outfit every night of the Winter Dance Party.

“It’s going back in time and you’re 16 again,” said Dan, who was wearing a pink shirt and black pants.

For the couple the clothing and music are a trip down memory lane, but for others it’s about imagining another time in history.

scarves and styles: Friday's Fancies: Winter Wonderland

Ok so I'm a week behind in Friday's Fancies . I also know that last week Jessica and I were dreaming about Spring. And although the weather feels like it's here already, as a Canadian, I know better than to think there is not going to be any cold anymore. So I decided to dream up of a beautiful outfit that reminds of the magical winters of the fairy tales. I want to see if it is possible to enjoy clothes, find my style, follow fashion and my inspirations all the while being realistic. What is my reality? A professional job with a dress code; a limited budget for clothes and accessories; Canadian winters; hobbies that require gear, not outfits; and busy days when there just isn't much time for styling.

winter scarf - know added wonder impact from winter scarves

Perhaps you do not own any winter scarves, but the next occasion you get a shiver chill running down your spine you can potentially think twice about whether you want some or not. In winter time a warm woolen or an imitation fur could come up with a huge difference between an annoying sleigh drive and a enchanting one. Winter scarves packages appear in many diverse options. A thick wool scarf could be only the thing to go together with an overcoat or fall coat. A knitted Apaca is particularly gentle and wraps tightly and comfortably around the neck under a down coat or parka. A fur -or for the conscientious, or the imitation fur -blends style with function and provides comfort whereas appearing spectacular and magnificent. You might need to pay a lot of attention in selecting the wonderful scarves, because they might correct the clothing they are showing off. The most generally employed approach for presenting a diverse countenance to the coat is through using diverse scarves daily. With the low-cost character of scarves, ordering a number of scarves may not be a issue for you. Scarves wrap around the neck like a warm quilt in a warm bed to conserve a dismal day outdoor and change it into an enjoyable one. While walking to the store may commonly be expended with hunched shoulders, gritted jaw and chattering teeth, with winter scarves it could instead be spent with the head up and neck comfortable, soaking in the surroundings and probably even catching snowflakes on the tongue. This may seem like an exaggeration, but you have a look around when you are outdoor in the winter and find the number of added smiles you see on the faces of wearers than on those who are going without. A popular misconception for those planning to order one of these warm outfits is the thought that the thicker it is, the hotter it might be. This is not actually the case. A thick cotton or knitted wool scarf may seem warm adequate, but in the event it is not woven cautiously it is possibly to supply added air and fluff than true warmness. An adeptly woven neck warmer or a ski clothier's offering may look thinner but actually be far hotter. In the event you are bound to be outdoor considerably in the winter, don't settle for a brief knock-off, have yourself something good for example one created from Pashmina. In the event you reside in the northern hemisphere, winter scarves are important. Whenever the winter wind gusts get blowing and the snow starts falling it is all you could do to hold it away from your body and outside where it belongs. Nothing ruins a exquisite wander in the cold forest like snowflakes down the back of the neck or a northern breeze gusting down the collar.
